In a 2012 study, animals treated with CBD were observed and found to be significantly less likely to develop colon cancer under the same laboratory conditions. Many studies have shown that CBD significantly reduces and inhibits tumor growth, meaning it can work as an effective way to both prevent and treat tumors. Interestingly, many studies conclude that CBD in combination with tetrahydrocannabinol – THC, the chemical compound in cannabis that produces psychoactive effects – may be even more effective in reducing cancer cell growth and reproduction. These findings suggest that CBD for cancer prevention may be a useful preventive treatment. Study Results Supporting CBD for Cancer Prevention A 2018 study shows that CBD derived from hemp reduces the ability of ovarian cancer cells to metastasize. Researchers are particularly interested in finding plant-based therapeutics for use in the treatment of ovarian cancer. “Our results show that hemp KY extract will reduce the migration of OCS in both cell lines in a dose-dependent manner. For OCC A2780, this attenuation was significant at all concentrations tested. A2780 cells treated with 12-15 μg/ml hemp extract containing 2.5-3.2 μM CBD caused a reduction in cell migration comparable to Cisplatin. The study noted that limited therapeutic interventions are currently available for metastatic breast cancer and there is an urgent need for effective, non-toxic treatments. “Next, using immunocompetent mice, we show that CBD treatment significantly reduces the size and number of lung metastatic foci as well as the primary tumor mass in two models of metastasis. It is also important to note that CBD has not yet been proven as an anti-cancer agent. However, many people have found solace in the available research and have therefore incorporated CBD into their daily routine. For preventive treatment, we recommend adding a dose of CBD in the form of gel capsules or gummies to your daily routine. Start with a low dose of 20 to 25 mg and increase as needed. The effects will start in about 60 to 90 minutes and last for several hours. If you suffer from existing tumors, a CBD-rich tincture or flower will provide quick relief from nausea and other side effects of cancer treatment. These methods are more difficult to dose than softgel or gum, so start slowly and wait at least 20 minutes before taking another dose or drinking some more flowers. Herein lies the beauty of plant-based medicines – improving quality of life without the risk of overdose or side effects. What else? Initial research shows that CBD can stop some cancer cells. Studies have been conducted evaluating CBD’s ability to deal with various cancers, including bladder, brain, breast, colon, endocrine, leukemia, lung, prostate and skin. Results have varied and some studies have been inconclusive, but overall, research shows a positive relationship. This is why many people turn to cannabidiol instead of (or in addition to) many medications after a cancer diagnosis. To better understand the mechanisms by which CBD may be beneficial for cancer patients, we turn to a number of medical studies conducted over the past two decades. Below, we look at the results of these. Studies supporting the use of CBD in cancer Some studies have looked at specific types of cancer from one angle, and there are studies suggesting that CBD may be a suitable choice for fighting the spread of breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. Some research takes a broader approach and CBD is informally labeled “antiproliferative” and “anti-angiogenic” for various reasons. If these reports turn out to be true, this essentially means that CBD can stop the growth of new cancer cells and prevent tumors from developing their own blood vessels; both of which can help inhibit the development of cancer in the body. If its cancer-fighting properties weren’t impressive enough, research outlines various ways that cannabidiol can help address other cancer-related symptoms and standard cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. In fact, some studies specifically involve chemotherapy patients hoping to cope with nausea and vomiting, confirming CBD’s antiemetic properties. Further research suggests that CBD may even be useful for managing sleep disturbances, pain and inflammation, which are often significant concerns for cancer patients. Research on CBD is expected to continue to develop rapidly, and there is no doubt that cancer is an area of focus that will not be ignored. So far, the evidence we have suggests that CBD may be beneficial for cancer patients, which has led to a large stream of unsubstantiated reports that “CBD treats cancer.” However, to understand exactly how it may work, it is necessary to have a good understanding of cannabidiol’s effect on the body’s endocannabinoid system and how it comes into play in regulating the immune system and fighting cancer symptoms. Much more research is needed before CBD can be officially recognized as a cancer treatment, but a review of the following studies will shed light on CBD and its many potential uses in cancer: Cannabidiol as a potential anti-cancer drug 2013 study. A 2010 study evaluated the effect of CBD on cancer cell invasion. The results “demonstrate the antitumor effects of CBD on NBL cells. However, public response suggests that many people diagnosed with cancer have seen great benefit from using regular doses of CBD. This means that it may be most effective to use regular doses of CBD to take advantage of the protective and preventive properties of the cannabinoid. CBD can then also be a solution for sudden flare-ups related to your condition. There is a wide range of CBD products available, but we recommend taking full spectrum CBD oil in the form of tinctures or gel capsules on a daily basis to deal with cancer and related symptoms. These two products are very similar as they are both based on the power of full spectrum CBD oil. However, they provide two different dosing methods, which makes them more or less suitable for some users. Capsules are easily swallowed, while tinctures are dripped under the tongue. Whichever you choose, make sure that the product combines CBD and MCT oil to increase the body’s ability to absorb cannabidiol. You may still find yourself experiencing sudden flare-ups in your condition and need a safe way to manage them. CBD can also be used to manage these sudden symptoms, and product selection is mostly based on preference. Whether you are hoping to manage pain, nausea or other discomfort – we recommend vaporizing CBD isolate to combat these sudden symptoms. Vaporization is recommended for sudden onset of discomfort as it provides fast relief. CBD isolate is a 99% pure version of cannabidiol from which other cannabinoids and terpenes have been removed. CBD tincture makes it easy to measure doses accurately so you can increase and decrease as needed. Alternatively, CBD gel capsules provide the convenience of pre-measured doses that make it easy to increase in larger increments. A 10 milligram capsule would be appropriate for this dosing regimen, but there is no harm in opting for a larger capsule, such as a 20 milligram gel capsule, because you cannot overdose on CBD and it has no serious side effects. In addition to its antiproliferative properties, these ingestibles provide lasting relief for several hours, and many people report that one dose is enough to get them through the day. Keep in mind that these ingestible CBD products have a delayed onset of action of about 90 minutes, so you should leave enough time between doses to observe the effects before deciding to make adjustments. How long after you (or your doctor) started taking cannabidiol did you (or your doctor) start to notice results?” This is difficult to determine as the chemotherapy regimen I am on is a proven method that has been used for years for my disease. I also think it was a combination of positive thinking, what I call chemotherapy “healing therapy”, lots of prayer, CBD, and a lot of love and support. How long after you started taking cannabidiol did you officially go into remission?” In my case, there was no remission. My surgeon at UCLA had a very different perspective because he was a survivor himself. He claims on Youtube that testicular cancer is 100% curable no matter what stage it is. I have been on CBD for several months and 2 months after my last chemo cycle I had to have major surgery. Through a single incision they removed the left kidney, the left testicle, some lymph nodes on the aorta and a 12 cm mass (reduced from 22 cm) that was once a lymph node on the aorta before it grew uncontrollably. The surgery was successful and I told myself that was it. I was done. The surgeon, Dr. Mark Litwin, said he was happy to bring me to the finish line, as usual, that’s where it all ends. But despite this amazing news that everything went as it should, another miracle happened. One of the doctors on my team came to my room at the hospital a few days after the surgery. “Did you hear the big news?” he said. I looked at him a little puzzled and replied, “No, I haven’t.” I wondered how there could be more news. Then he said, “The pathology results came back on everything we removed. Everything was negative. It’s a non-viable tumor. No cancer detected.” I was surprised because I had completely forgotten about pathology at that point. I thought maybe later I would hear what kind of mixed germ cell tumor it was, but it turned out that everything was killed. When I was leaving the hospital 8 days after the surgery, my surgeon put his hands on me and said, “God has given you a second chance, do something good with your life.” It was a very memorable moment. A very unforgettable moment. Are you still using cannabidiol now? Yes. Almost every night before bed. What advice do you have for those who are skeptical about using CBD as a cancer treatment? Ultimately, it will help your body cope and heal from the challenges it faces. If you had to go through this process again, would you still choose CBD as your preferred treatment? What would you do differently?” Well, it’s a bit difficult because I first discovered something in my left testicle in June 2016. I didn’t go to the doctor for almost 2 years. I didn’t go after numerous warning signs such as pain, injury, etc. This was because the pain was mostly in my legs and back, as well as some abdominal pain that I felt was due to injury. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose chemotherapy/surgery as the main option and only use CBD because of the very high success rate. CBD for cardiovascular disease Cardiovascular disease is one of the most common diseases in America; cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the US, causing about 1 in 4 deaths each year. About fifty percent of Americans have one or more risk factors for heart disease, including diabetes, past tobacco use, obesity and a primarily sedentary lifestyle. Many different pharmaceutical interventions are prescribed for cardiovascular disease, ranging from ACE inhibitors to anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents to cholesterol-lowering agents such as statins and cholesterol absorption inhibitors. If you have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, you may have a veritable armada of medications in your arsenal. Many of these drugs can interact both with other medicines and with the foods you eat, making it difficult to incorporate them into your life. They can also cause unpleasant side effects and make you feel unwell! While we don’t recommend stopping these medications (it’s a bad idea for your heart) without consulting your doctor and closely monitoring your lab results (it’s important to keep monitoring your condition and blood tests give an excellent idea of your cardiovascular health), there is some evidence that CBD can help relieve hypertension and inflammation, which are at the root of cardiovascular disease, and may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. So how does CBD help with cardiovascular disease? First, we will need to discuss the roots of cardiovascular disease – what it is, why it happens and how to prevent or reduce it if already diagnosed. Next, we will explore the science behind how CBD works in your system to reduce hypertension and relax your blood vessels. When boiled down to its most basic elements, cardiovascular disease is like many other diseases in that it is an inflammatory disease. Your blood vessels can become inflamed just like any other tissue in your body, restricting blood flow and potentially blocking vital pathways, causing heart attacks and strokes. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a symptom of this inflammation: blood vessels narrow when inflamed, pushing blood out through smaller and smaller holes at higher and higher pressures, like putting your thumb over the nozzle of a garden hose. This puts strain not only on the walls of the blood vessels, but also on the heart, which has to work harder to pump blood through a constricted and inflamed system. This is one reason why aspirin is commonly prescribed as a preventive measure for people approaching middle age, the lifespan in which we expect cardiovascular disease to occur. Aspirin works in two main ways to prevent heart disease: it is a blood thinner, meaning it reduces the chance of your blood clotting in your blood vessels and causing a heart attack. It is also an anti-inflammatory and helps reduce the inflammation in your blood vessels that contributes to your high blood pressure. CBD can also provide this blood vessel relaxation, as some studies have shown that it is a powerful anti-inflammatory that has been shown to relax the blood vessels themselves (more on the biomechanics of this action in a moment!CBD can also reduce the cardiovascular system’s response to various types of stress, meaning it can help regulate heart rhythm and reduce the risk of a sudden cardiac event. Of course, advances in research are needed before we can pinpoint exactly how, when and why CBD affects cardiovascular disease, but many researchers are hopeful that CBD may one day be officially included as a treatment option for this condition. Before we start talking about how CBD helps improve cardiovascular health, we should point out that CBD can also help improve cardiovascular health: CBD is no different from other drugs in that it will not magically undo or eliminate bad lifestyle choices. Cardiovascular disease affects the whole body, so for treatment to be effective, you need to consider the whole body. If you are going to add CBD to your regimen, that’s great! However, if you want to get the most out of your dose, you need to combine your CBD regimen with a healthier lifestyle. This doesn’t just mean quitting smoking, reducing your alcohol intake and avoiding fried foods – like everything else in life, the more you put into your lifestyle changes, the more you’ll get out of them. It’s a good idea to increase your physical activity – try making small changes like going for a walk in the morning or taking the stairs to your office instead of the elevator – and make responsible dietary choices. There is growing evidence to support the theory that the standard American diet, high in sugar and carbohydrates and low in fat, strains the body and promotes systemic inflammation, so ask your doctor how you can make changes to your diet to support heart health.” Dieting is difficult because much of the current research is influenced by the sugar and wheat industries (who have a vested interest in downplaying the harm caused by their products), so we recommend that in addition to doing your own research, you work with your doctor and don’t be afraid to get a second opinion!” According to some existing research, the powerful anti-inflammatory and anxiolytic effects of CBD may provide significant cardiovascular benefits by reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. Research Available: A 2018 review examined evidence from the National Library of Medicine to determine how clinical endocannabinoid deficiency may play a role in irritable bowel disease, migraine and fibromyalgia. The study concluded: “Cannabinoids similarly demonstrate their ability to block spinal, peripheral, and gastrointestinal mechanisms that promote pain in headache, fibromyalgia, IBS, and related disorders.” Additional research: CBD and fibromyalgia A study conducted in 2019 aims to evaluate the effect of pharmaceutical-grade inhaled cannabis on 20 symptomatic fibromyalgia patients experiencing chronic pain. The randomized, placebo-controlled study involved four different strains of cannabis, each with a different CBD / THC ratio. The study concluded that “more subjects taking Bediol [13,4 mg THC, 17,8 mg CBD] showed a 30% reduction in pain scores compared to placebo (90% versus 55% of patients).” “Is CBD used to treat fibromyalgia?” CBD for fibromyalgia treatment is a new but promising therapeutic avenue that may help relieve fibromyalgia-related discomfort in some people. However, it should be noted that CBD is not a drug and more evidence is needed before researchers can fully understand the relationship between fibromyalgia, the endocannabinoid system and cannabinoid-based medicines. Although the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearly recognizes the therapeutic potential of CBD, it has not yet regulated or approved CBD as a treatment for fibromyalgia. More research and clinical evidence is needed before CBD can be considered a real treatment option, but many people may choose to try CBD for fibromyalgia based on the limited evidence available and CBD’s generally accepted low-risk side effect profile. Recommended CBD regimen for fibromyalgia Like many chronic conditions, fibromyalgia requires daily treatment to manage and prevent symptoms. When considering CBD to treat fibromyalgia symptoms, it is important to note that the benefits of CBD for this condition have not yet been proven. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that many people find relief in systemic and topical CBD products for certain fibromyalgia symptoms, such as pain and mood instability. Cancer is a serious disease, so it is important to understand that CBD for cancer prevention should definitely be used as a supplement, not as a stand-alone treatment. It is also important to note that CBD has not yet been proven as an anti-cancer agent. However, many people have found solace in the available research and have therefore incorporated CBD into their daily routine. For preventive treatment, we recommend adding a dose of CBD in the form of gel capsules or gummies to your daily routine. Start with a low dose of 20 to 25 mg and increase as needed. Some research takes a broader approach and CBD is informally labeled “antiproliferative” and “anti-angiogenic” for various reasons. If these reports turn out to be true, this essentially means that CBD can stop the growth of new cancer cells and prevent tumors from developing their own blood vessels; both of which can help inhibit the development of cancer in the body.

If its cancer-fighting properties weren’t impressive enough, research outlines various ways that cannabidiol can help address other cancer-related symptoms and standard cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. In fact, some studies specifically involve chemotherapy patients hoping to cope with nausea and vomiting, confirming CBD’s antiemetic properties. Further research suggests that CBD may even be useful for managing sleep disturbances, pain and inflammation, which are often significant concerns for cancer patients.

Research on CBD is expected to continue to develop rapidly, and there is no doubt that cancer is an area of focus that will not be ignored. So far, the evidence we have suggests that CBD may be beneficial for cancer patients, which has led to a large stream of unsubstantiated reports that “CBD treats cancer.”

However, to understand exactly how it may work, it is necessary to have a good understanding of cannabidiol’s effect on the body’s endocannabinoid system and how it comes into play in regulating the immune system and fighting cancer symptoms. 2013 study. When were you first diagnosed with cancer and what was the official diagnosis?

On January 10, 2018, I found out that I had a 15-centimeter mass in my abdomen. At the time, the diagnosis was unknown. It was thought to be sarcoma, lymphoma or renal cell carcinoma.

Did you undergo conventional treatment for cancer before choosing CBD oil? If yes, how did you feel afterwards? Was it effective?”

I initially wanted holistic therapy as the prognosis for all the above options was dire. However, after about a month and when the growth reached 22 cm, I had a biopsy and it was found to be end-stage testicular cancer. I then immediately started conventional treatment as the overall survival rate was 95%, but mine was lower because I was so advanced.

How soon after diagnosis did you start using CBD? What made you try cannabis-based treatment for your condition?

I started using CBD immediately after my first chemotherapy cycle. I have always been an advocate of cannabis and have spent countless hours researching it.

How did your doctor react to your decision to use CBD as a cancer treatment? Was it difficult to talk to your doctor about the use of CBD?”

My doctor was definitely in favor of cannabis as a way to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, but not as a treatment or booster to help the body heal itself. However, it was not difficult to get my doctor to completely agree on this.

Can you describe your CBD routine? Have you used any products containing THC? What dose of CBD helped you relax?

I used a product. Full spectrum CBD capsules from a company called CBD Alive. Each capsule contains 10 mg of cannabinoids. At first I took one a day, then I increased it to two a day. Usually in the morning. There was some THC. I think it was a 20:1 product. I think at some point I went up to 4 a day and then I went down to two a day.

How has cannabidiol helped me?

One thing for sure is that it has helped me with my fear and anxiety. It gave me a more “carefree” feeling which is perfect for dealing with stress and perfect for healing. I believe it helped my body cope with this problem on its own and made the chemotherapy more effective and less destructive, because the side effects were very few.

Did cannabidiol help in dealing with other symptoms related to your condition?

I definitely believe it did. Mainly for stress.

How long did you take cannabidiol? How long after you (or your doctor) started taking cannabidiol did you (or your doctor) start to notice results?”

This is difficult to determine as the chemotherapy regimen I am on is a proven method that has been used for years for my disease. I also think it was a combination of positive thinking, what I call chemotherapy “healing therapy”, lots of prayer, CBD, and a lot of love and support.

How long after you started taking cannabidiol did you officially go into remission?”

In my case, there was no remission. My surgeon at UCLA had a very different perspective because he was a survivor himself. He claims on Youtube that testicular cancer is 100% curable no matter what stage it is. I have been on CBD for several months and 2 months after my last chemo cycle I had to have major surgery. Through a single incision they removed the left kidney, the left testicle, some lymph nodes on the aorta and a 12 cm mass (reduced from 22 cm) that was once a lymph node on the aorta before it grew uncontrollably.

The surgery was successful and I told myself that was it. I was done. The surgeon, Dr. Mark Litwin, said he was happy to bring me to the finish line, as usual, that’s where it all ends. But despite this amazing news that everything went as it should, another miracle happened. One of the doctors on my team came to my room at the hospital a few days after the surgery. “Did you hear the big news?” he said. I looked at him a little puzzled and replied, “No, I haven’t.” I wondered how there could be more news. Then he said, “The pathology results came back on everything we removed. Everything was negative. It’s a non-viable tumor. No cancer detected.” I was surprised because I had completely forgotten about pathology at that point. I thought maybe later I would hear what kind of mixed germ cell tumor it was, but it turned out that everything was killed. When I was leaving the hospital 8 days after the surgery, my surgeon put his hands on me and said, “God has given you a second chance, do something good with your life.” It was a very memorable moment. A very unforgettable moment.

Are you still using cannabidiol now?

Yes. Almost every night before bed.

What advice do you have for those who are skeptical about using CBD as a cancer treatment? Ultimately, it will help your body cope and heal from the challenges it faces. If you had to go through this process again, would you still choose CBD as your preferred treatment? What would you do differently?”

Well, it’s a bit difficult because I first discovered something in my left testicle in June 2016. I didn’t go to the doctor for almost 2 years. I didn’t go after numerous warning signs such as pain, injury, etc. This was because the pain was mostly in my legs and back, as well as some abdominal pain that I felt was due to injury. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose chemotherapy/surgery as the main option and only use CBD because of the very high success rate. I would probably practice a lot more grounding and sunlight.”

CBD for cardiovascular disease

Cardiovascular disease is one of the most common diseases in America; cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the US, causing about 1 in 4 deaths each year. About fifty percent of Americans have one or more risk factors for heart disease, including diabetes, past tobacco use, obesity and a primarily sedentary lifestyle. Many different pharmaceutical interventions are prescribed for cardiovascular disease, ranging from ACE inhibitors to anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents to cholesterol-lowering agents such as statins and cholesterol absorption inhibitors.

If you have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, you may have a veritable armada of medications in your arsenal. Many of these drugs can interact both with other medicines and with the foods you eat, making it difficult to incorporate them into your life. They can also cause unpleasant side effects and make you feel unwell!

While we don’t recommend stopping these medications (it’s a bad idea for your heart) without consulting your doctor and closely monitoring your lab results (it’s important to keep monitoring your condition and blood tests give an excellent idea of your cardiovascular health), there is some evidence that CBD can help relieve hypertension and inflammation, which are at the root of cardiovascular disease, and may reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke.

So how does CBD help with cardiovascular disease? First, we will need to discuss the roots of cardiovascular disease – what it is, why it happens and how to prevent or reduce it if already diagnosed. Next, we will explore the science behind how CBD works in your system to reduce hypertension and relax your blood vessels.

When boiled down to its most basic elements, cardiovascular disease is like many other diseases in that it is an inflammatory disease. Your blood vessels can become inflamed just like any other tissue in your body, restricting blood flow and potentially blocking vital pathways, causing heart attacks and strokes. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a symptom of this inflammation: blood vessels narrow when inflamed, pushing blood out through smaller and smaller holes at higher and higher pressures, like putting your thumb over the nozzle of a garden hose. This puts strain not only on the walls of the blood vessels, but also on the heart, which has to work harder to pump blood through a constricted and inflamed system.

This is one reason why aspirin is commonly prescribed as a preventive measure for people approaching middle age, the lifespan in which we expect cardiovascular disease to occur. Aspirin works in two main ways to prevent heart disease: it is a blood thinner, meaning it reduces the chance of your blood clotting in your blood vessels and causing a heart attack. It is also an anti-inflammatory and helps reduce the inflammation in your blood vessels that contributes to your high blood pressure. CBD can also provide this blood vessel relaxation, as some studies have shown that it is a powerful anti-inflammatory that has been shown to relax the blood vessels themselves (more on the biomechanics of this action in a moment!CBD can also reduce the cardiovascular system’s response to various types of stress, meaning it can help regulate heart rhythm and reduce the risk of a sudden cardiac event. Of course, advances in research are needed before we can pinpoint exactly how, when and why CBD affects cardiovascular disease, but many researchers are hopeful that CBD may one day be officially included as a treatment option for this condition.

Before we start talking about how CBD helps improve cardiovascular health, we should point out that CBD can also help improve cardiovascular health: CBD is no different from other drugs in that it will not magically undo or eliminate bad lifestyle choices. Cardiovascular disease affects the whole body, so for treatment to be effective, you need to consider the whole body.

If you are going to add CBD to your regimen, that’s great! However, if you want to get the most out of your dose, you need to combine your CBD regimen with a healthier lifestyle. This doesn’t just mean quitting smoking, reducing your alcohol intake and avoiding fried foods – like everything else in life, the more you put into your lifestyle changes, the more you’ll get out of them.

It’s a good idea to increase your physical activity – try making small changes like going for a walk in the morning or taking the stairs to your office instead of the elevator – and make responsible dietary choices. There is growing evidence to support the theory that the standard American diet, high in sugar and carbohydrates and low in fat, strains the body and promotes systemic inflammation, so ask your doctor how you can make changes to your diet to support heart health.”

Dieting is difficult because much of the current research is influenced by the sugar and wheat industries (who have a vested interest in downplaying the harm caused by their products), so we recommend that in addition to doing your own research, you work with your doctor and don’t be afraid to get a second opinion!”

According to some existing research, the powerful anti-inflammatory and anxiolytic effects of CBD may provide significant cardiovascular benefits by reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. There are other studies on both humans and rats that show that CBD causes vasorelaxation through a receptor located in the endothelium (the inner layer of cells lining blood vessels). The full discussion here gets a little more complicated, but the bottom line is that researchers have found evidence that CBD acts on a receptor in the endothelium to help relax and dilate blood vessels. While this receptor has yet to be concretely discovered, scientists have shown us where to look, so researchers are getting even hotter!”

Some research suggests that CBD’s potential anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) effects may also benefit cardiovascular health by reducing the likelihood of a sudden cardiac event such as a heart attack by reducing the heart’s stress response. Some studies also suggest that CBD may help regulate irregular heart rhythms and further reduce the risk of heart attack – especially if you have been diagnosed with arrhythmia. These studies suggest that CBD has a regulatory effect on heart rhythm and does not increase heart rate (unlike THC).

In conclusion, these preliminary studies provide a basis for researchers to continue to delve deeper into the benefits of CBD for cardiovascular disease, but are not conclusive in branding CBD as a treatment for heart disease. Future advances in research will aim to unlock the full potential of CBD and help establish CBD as an official treatment for the life-threatening condition.

“Is CBD used to treat fibromyalgia?”

Effects of Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol alone and in combination on damage, inflammation and in vitro motility disturbances in colitis in rats
